Not only the last election but also the last budget when we (and business) were all assured that they have fixed the economy and won't be coming back for more. So (assuming tax rises and broken manifesto pledges happen) they'll have done it twice.Anyone who thought that taxes weren't going to have to be raised was deluded. I include those in the Labour Party.
It would also be required whoever won that election, and the next one. Reform included, although people will vote for unicorns.
