Edit: Plus, she has just been making up untrue excuses, completely changing her excuse as truth emerges. Trust her story?
Yes. if the excuses are that shoot, then there is nothing in it. It's not as though she has been watching tractor porn in the chamber, assaulting people, sexually assaulting people, paying for duck houses or moats, making massive amounts of cash from insider deals or hedge funds, taking bribes, and generally breaking the law.

It's a license which she was told had been bought.

Apparently they have an email confirmation from the agent that they (the agent) has agreed to make the application for the licence on their behalf. Thereafter the question arises whether they should have later expected to receive an invoice or request for payment unless the amount was prepaid. If prepaid, then that along with the email confirmation, shows that either one of the Reeves was over the detail to that extent, but not still not to the extent required by law to check that the correct licence was granted.

Luckily, Badenoch has joined in to help us with perspective:
https://news.sky.com/story/badenoch...-not-the-same-as-reeves-breaking-law-13460659
Badenoch says hacking into Harriet Harman's website 17 years ago 'not the same' as Reeves breaking law.
Hacking into websites is a criminal offence and can be punishable with a fine or up to a two-year prison sentence for minor offences, or life imprisonment for the most serious.

Asked if she had ever broken the law, Ms Badenoch said: "I don't believe that I have, ...
.... we have a government of people who are repeatedly breaking the law," she added.

Yeah, she should have said, “we have had a succession of governments who are repeatedly breaking the law”.

No need for whataboutery then 😊

I pressed 5 after watching that video, and having told the operator that Newcastle doesn't look like a third world hell hole the line went dead.

Please advise.
