Removing barriers to Free Movement would be government getting out of the way.

£ strengthening yesterday on Starmer's comments on UK alignment.

Good stuff

Free movement for the whole world?

What could possibly go wrong?
Nothing. Nothing can go wrong if govt just stays out of the way

What are the odds of both Keir and Kemi still being in their jobs by July? Quite small I think at the moment.
Actually I suspect they both will still be in post. Mood music is that BadEnoch is improving, and I don't think Labour will change leader given how strongly they have campaigned on the musical chairs in the last Tory government.

I'm no supporter of either but I wonder if Ms Badenoch might stay in post longer. Starmer's failings are giving her the opportunity to push back more sensibly. Over the last month she's performed better in the "UK's National Embarrassment" (PM Questions) I think not so much that she's improved but rather Starmer has been giving her very easy targets - but whatever the reason MPs make a big deal of PM Questions performances.
