This will almost certainly boil down to the costs Aston Villa would need to pay to satisfy West Midlands Police's demands.

Throwing accusations of anti-Semitism around like confetti cheapens the term.

There's quite a few other accusations bandied around.

Birmingham AG cannot be allowed to dictate this. It also sends a message too, defending the Israeli supporters

I think he said the decision was ‘wrong’. I can’t see him shouting anti-semitic anywhere?

FWIW I think it is a matter for the police, local authorities and the club. Starmer and Badenoch should shut up and let them get on with it.

Trouble will occur.

No matter what Starmer says.

Anyone who goes there and actually causes trouble will be directly responsible.

It is rather difficult for Tel Aviv fans to be involved with trouble if they are not there.

It isn't really much different from the sort of issues that lead to no away fans for Old Firm games.

The game itself is a problem, absolutely. Even if the fans don't travel, the very presence of an Israeli team will be a lightening rod and I'm sure some students will come out to demonstrate.

Could this be policed though?
