Unlimited compensation slipped in to the bill. This would crucify all businesses except for the multinationals

How much is the current limit?

This change only crucify the employers who unfairly dismiss their employees where the employee was highly paid and/or the employer's conduct totally egregious.

If you read a few Employment Tribunal cases, like the ones The Times has flagged because they supposedly offend common sense, you think 'if only the employer had actually followed proper process, or just their company's own processes.

It quick search indicates upto £120k . Most small businesses will have insurance, but their premiums will be much higher. Higher running costs will be another nail in their ever dwindling bottom line
