More sunk cost fallacy, I suspect, not from Putin, but from the Starmer/McSweeney/Glasman strategy of chasing the Reform vote. They just can't bear to face up to the fact that they've been chasing a vote that just isn't there, meanwhile pissing off everyone who voted Labour last time, loyalists and people who just wanted to get rid of the Tories.
