Can't spell, Can't Punctuate....Who care's, Sue Me
1.) I have never bought a property in Spain, however, listening to the experts, even those who income come from helping Brits buy in Europe they admit it is harder post Brexit.
2.) Lucky him, but many others would use a mortgage.
3.) It shows that things changed post Brexit across many areas of the EU that people did not think about.
4.) I was not talking about our currency crash or the property cost movements, just the actual process and greater expense incurred from the additional paperwork. You simply highlighted
5.) I am talking about the actual tax rates being different between an EU-citizen and a non-EU citizen. For example Spain will charge an extra 5% tax on rental income for non-EU citizens. In addition, pre-Brexit the owner could offset expenses against the tax, so yet another cost.

I think that covers it all, my school report may not have always have been perfect but I managed to even do some basic research. Undeniably Brexit has made "moving to" and "buying property" in the EU, including Spain significantly harder and more expensive. Whether or not you think that is a good thing is down to your personal opinions but does not change the facts.

1. We dont rely on experts any longer....first hand experience would be better, but you dont have that.
2. He earnt it , he can spend it and we was talking about him and no-one else
3. we was talking spain, the rest of the EU doesnt matter in this circumstance
4. you have never bought a property in spain, so wouldnt know of any additional charges
5. Who's talking about rental income, again changing the goalposts to suit yourself

To many assumptions in your post and no actual facts......undeniably, you cant always brame brexit for things that are out of our control.

Now you will do the same as everyone else and say i dont like your opinion, why so argumentative, then throw you dummy out of the pram and put me on ignore.

Firstly, I won't put you on ignore, I believe that everyone deserves a chance, sometimes many, many more than one. I am pretty patient as I deal with troubled kids on a very regular basis.

1.) Not relying on experts is precisely what has caused this situation in the first place.
2.) For sure he earnt it and can spend it how he likes, it is just that now it costs a lot more. You might have been talking about just one person, I am talking about everyone affected.
3.) I listed some specific issues for Spain, but also mentioned Austria as another example, I am sure there are many more.
4.) Just because I have not bought property in Spain does not mean that I cannot read and understand basic English, as I said in point 1.) Experts are there to help you.
5.) What goalposts? Rental income tax is a major factor when purchasing a property abroad, especially when Brexit means that it is harder to travel there for an extended period of time.

But not everyone will be affected, as i proved.......

Not if hes not renting it out.....and i know for a fact he isnt, so rental income doesnt come into it at all and not everyone wants to rent them out. they are quite happy to leave them empty and let friends and family use the property free of charge.

Here's another snippet related to workers' rights, including paid holidays, minimum wages and the right to collective bargaining. @shep will doubtless already be familiar with this. https://www.express.co.uk/news/poli...usiness-secretary-paid-holiday-rights-spt/amp

Well, he is the Minister for Victorian Values, isn't he?
