If someone came and shouted through a loudspeaker outside your bedroom window for a couple of years, and followed you to the shops also shouting at you (sometimes less than a metre away), would you consider it an act of violence or an act of quiet protest?
I would consider it the act of having a teenage daughter....![]()
In the absence of moderation on this board, how do we go about getting posts moved into a new thread? This Steve Bray topic deserves it’s own thread, leaving the good news one for, well, good news.

Umm praps start a Steve Bray thread??
I just ignore any bad news on my ..
I repeat 'MY'
GOOD news thread..
Also it rained very heavily last night..
And the broadbeans are ready to harvest .💚💚💚💚
I know how to start a new thread (and Newfhouse has kindly done so), my question was how to shift the relevant posts from this thread to a new one. It would keep the continuity of those, from both sides, who have already expressed views. 👍
But can noise be violent?

I like this forum more and more! There is no moderation ... except for when you want it.
Tremendous irony considering the posts on the last couple of pages. Good work.
Noisy protest is (should be) fine from anyone..
So long as it's non violent.
In this situation, as was alluded to earlier, protest is anything you agree with, harassment is anything you don't.It's neither obviously. Please ask better questions and learn the difference between protest and harrassment.
In the context of your question.
