It took me a moment to realise that that is a downward arrow in blue.
I was there thinking
"Child deaths, 75%? What's to celebrate there?"
I need sleep!
And it wasn't even close. Quite apart from the politics, it seemed extraordinary that a man with so many allegations of sexual misconduct against him was in the running. Though it didn't stop Trump, I guess.

I think it was potentially closer than it looks because there is a second round when second votes from the candidates that have been eliminated then get applied to the top two candidates. So a lot of the 112k votes for Lander might have gone to Cuomo. And it wasn't even close. Classy behaviour from Lander throughout. A great ad for RCV and a model for left-liberal co-operation.
"We are sending Andrew Cuomo back to the suburbs. With our help, Zohran Mamdani will be the Democratic nominee".
Palestine Action’s fundraiser to fight the Home Secretary’s intention to proscribe them as a terrorist organisation has already smashed its £100,000 goal, reaching over £137,000 at this point, with 6 days still to go!
If, like me, you see this as an authoritarian assault on the right to protest then you can contribute to their legal funds here: https://www.crowdjustice.com/case/palestine-action/
Breaking into an Army base and spraying paint on military hardware is not a protest. It is strong evidence the security issues but still it's vandalism at best.Palestine Action’s fundraiser to fight the Home Secretary’s intention to proscribe them as a terrorist organisation has already smashed its £100,000 goal, reaching over £137,000 at this point, with 6 days still to go!

It's worded like that for an reason, if peacefull protest derails just a little bit it can quickly become intimidating and although the law has some provisions that say certain people/orginasations etc. need to have some thicker skin when it comes to intimidation also to protect freedom of protest, it's worded that wide for a reason, it's not the first time a ''protest'' movement becomes a terror group.(i would quite like a free speech / authoritarian laws thread for all this stuff, but for now: )
My view is that criminal damage isn't terrorism. There is no terror here. The relevant clause in the 2000 Terrorism Act is absurdly vague.
My only problem with supporting P'Action unreservedly was the violent aspects to the Bristol arms factory raid. And they seemed pretty unrepentant about that.

Protest is showing you dissatisfaction with something, vandalism is destroying things, that i have to explain that shows the problematic trend of changing standards.Explain to me why it's not a protest.
Explain to me why vandalism cannot be protest.
