Today's essential pit-band-in-a-church accessory

My friend made me this beautiful bowl and left it on my porch for me to come home to.

I'm going to try my hand at some pottery next year, I used to love it when I was younger and was less worried about getting things 'just right'.

I'll probably go for construction techniques other than throwing, as that's just another 'skill' I'd have to learn to get right first .

Basically I just want to do 'play clay' and see what arises..

I'd have to get my digit out and find a somewhere giving lessons. Though I picked up some ideas from hanging around the studio.

Very neat! I'll have to check him out. I've been accumulating a whole bunch of stuff for my own cut up stuff in the next few months.
