He even pretended to be bothered by the midges - just like a normal person. All for the camera!!!
To be fair, waving, smiling and making light conversation are his only skills, albeit honed over many years. Poor chap can't even use a fountain pen without getting ink all over himself. His carers have to prepare his toothbrush, run his bath - and who knows what else.

Maybe I'm being too cynical, but it does seem like quite a coincidence that he'd be wandering around that particular bit of his 20,000 acre grounds just at that moment.

Epic ride though!

Stinks, doesn't it. Who does he think he's kidding?!?

I don't think it's coincidence.

He ordered his protection to go so he could walk alone. Protection sees some cyclists, assesses they are no threat and continues.

Walker is passed by some riders in remote area and they have a conversation. Entirely normal. He needs no acclaim for this. What did you expect him to say "Fark off, and biw down you serf scum".

Some 21 people who were arrested at the King's Coronation will face no further action, the Met Police has said.
The force said prosecutors had decided not to charge those arrested in the Mall and Whitehall on 6 May.
They had been arrested in order to prevent a breach of the peace and on suspicion of conspiracy to cause a public nuisance, said police.
Assistant Commissioner Matt Twist said the force had "real concerns" over security at the event.
He said the force had received intelligence that indicated activists would target the procession in the hours before the Coronation.
"We had real concerns that such efforts would not only disrupt a once-in-a-lifetime event of enormous national significance, but that they could also compromise the security and safety of participants and the wider public," he said.
"Officers were briefed on these concerns and we needed to be proactive in managing this risk and prevent any activity that could put public safety or the security of the event at risk."
Prosecutors decided to take no further action after concluding there was "no realistic prospect of conviction", the Met added.

There’s a reason for there being no realistic prospect of conviction…
