He has BS degree, MBA, service with police and over 10 years of secret service.

Seems to have a fair amount of experience

And a podcaster

Fair play, a bull sh*t degree will go down well with Trump.

Being a podcaster sold it for me....

Perhaps the icing on the cake is that he was listed in the top 5 "superspreaders of election misinformation" after 2020 by human rights group Avaaz.

Seems a perfect fit for the current administration.

Indeed. But if we have learned one thing about the FBI from TV dramas it's that they will be well prepared for Trump to parachute in a complete a$$hat. I would bet that a lot of his orders and instructions will get lost, delayed or misinterpreted and that he will get diverted as much as possible into things that look important but are actually just something to keep him occupied. Plenty of dead cats will be prepared to cover the next 4 years...

Plus there will be a young maverick preparing a dossier to get him banged up on corruption charges at the next election...

Reading more into his career, that is more in line with my thoughts. They just need to wheel him out to public events to make him look important to himself and wave to the Trumpist's while the adults work behind the scenes.

The thing with intelligence is that intelligent people know how to manage idiots and won't tolerate the interference of morons.

I see Trump has got his peace deal that he said he could deliver....

Trump is already hugely unpopular, even among people who voted for him. Sooner or later it will implode.

I think Trump is going to have a very rough ride for 4 years once people realise that, yes, he is actually a moron without a plan.

As more of Trump's Executive Orders are contested in court and blocked by the courts people have been raising the risk that Trump mioght just start ignoring the courts and doing anyway.

Whilst the courts have no enforcement arm, an intersting bit from a report ron Trump effectively blocking medical research funding
If the Trump administration continues to evade court orders, Bagenstos says judges have a number of tools at their disposal. They could issue more specific orders directed toward individuals responsible for violations, or even hold them in civil contempt of court, which can include jail time, and which cannot be undone with a presidential pardon.

I have read that he is doing that anyway - not everything gets appealed and goes to the courts

and if he does enough then the courts can;t deal with the volume - and things get done his way anyway even if they are supposed to wait for the courts
