Unlike the Guardian, the BBC in trying to look impartial, seems to be supporting a 'safe Trump'.
Meanwhile, 'Trump: The Criminal Conspiracy Case' now on iPlayer and Apple TV actually manages to cover Trumps attempted election heist without any sign whatsoever of the BBCs infamous political nothingness style.

(This seems to down to the fact that it is a 72 Films, Freemantle independent production. )
Although I remembered about the things it was covering
I had forgotten just how BAD is really was
and also - how trump, which appearing to be quite dumb, is very very good at making his meaning very clear but not actually using the words that could convict him
for example, when he was trying to get the Governor of Georgia to "find" 11,000 votes
a) he always said find - not invent - which could, in a court, be put forward as meaning that some vote had been missed an dthey needed to be found
b) he said that the Governor would be "respected" , "really so respected" if he did manage to "find" these votes - which again could not be used to convict him easily of an attempted bribe - but at the time must have been a clear suggestion that he would benefit a lot if he did what trump wanted
it is really quite clever
same with the Jan 6th - he never said "storm the building" or "get pence" or anything - the meaning was clear - ish - and how the crowd (or some of them) would take it was obvious but he never said the words
which is worrying - someone who sounds dumb and isn't
is dangerous!
