It gets more and more serious for the future of Europe.
Meanwhile the Washington Post puts its own existance first by 'staying none partisan'.

Non partisan in trump's book is equal to betrayal

it will be My way or I'll destroy you when he gets in - freedom of the press is not something he values

I expect if Trump wins there will be more than a fair few taking a very long vacation abroad in order to 'sit it out and see'.
With him anything and everything is a possibility.
His level of dementedness will come out into the open too.

That's what is worrying me more than other things

In theory his ability to change things too much is limited - but it looks like he - and his disciples - have had 4 years to find ways around the blocks he encountered last time

I also worry that he will start to look even worse and Vance will announce that he has "reluctantly" had to take over

Similar things have probably happened before, but I haven't heard of someone offering a million dollars to random registered voters. At this point it feels like Musk is constantly saying "Hold my beer", to himself...

Didn't take long for this to hit the courts...

Seems Jeff Bezos ordered the Washington Post journalists not to endorse a candidate.
The consequence of that is that there are mass cancellations of Post subscriptions in protest at Bezos looking after his personal financial interests first and foremost.

The irony is that the Bezos first preference is the kill.
For me what makes it worse is that Bezos' decision seemed to happed shortly after his space company executives had a meeting with the Trump campaign - which makes it all look like pressure/threats were made and Bezos caved.

Bezos faces criticism after executives met with Trump on day of Post’s non-endorsement
Executives of Blue Origin briefly met with Trump within hours after paper spiked endorsement of Harris

The multi-billionaire owner of the Washington Post, Jeff Bezos, continued facing criticism throughout the weekend because executives from his aerospace company met with Donald Trump on the same day the newspaper prevented its editorial team from publishing an endorsement of his opponent in the US presidential election.

Not very impressive when "owners" start restricting Freedom of Press for their own personal gain. Says more than a lot about the publication and those who went along with the decision.

The BBC World Service sounded like they got done over yet again in their 'undecided' type interviewees.
Both guests spent all their time on reasons not to vote Democrat, even to the point where the 'I am voting Green' person conveniently forgot that it was Trumps Supreme Court appointees blocked debt relief.
