They are having to tread a fine line between making Von Shitzinpants a martyr and treating him like any other criminal.
I'm hoping Judge Mershon does take action against him. Even if it's jail for 48 hours. I did read a report before his current trial started that the secret service has made contingency plans for him being jailed.

She would need to be an appeal judge first. But were such a promotion (to the appellant court) be made, her incompetence and lack of experience should make even Trumpian members of the judiciary sit up and think.

The way trump is talking competence is not required as long as "his people" are prepared to support his claim that the previous election was stolen
and once they admit that then more will follow

Looks like a DWAC board member will end up in prison for fraud. And Trumps bodyguard, who by court evidence arranged Trumps liaison, is not getting called as a witness. Make of that what you will. But in a her word against his, I have abandoned my doubts.
