All the fault of Ukraine. How unreasonable of them to deploy air defences to try to prevent the Russians from bombing their towns and cities
Who said that ?

Well at least that's WW3 averted for now....Last night it was ‘stray Russian missiles’ killed 2 in Poland.
Cries for retaliation and a instant response.
Today, US officials suggest Ukraine air defence missile to blame.
Phew....

From whom?

Anyone with any influence, or just the usual internet warriors?

Just the usual internet warriors....
"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday called the death of two people in Poland from Russian missiles a “really significant escalation” of the war between Kyiv and Moscow.

“Hitting NATO territory with missiles. … This is a Russian missile attack on collective security! This is a really significant escalation. Action is needed,” Zelensky said in a video address Tuesday.

An RAF officer on the radio just suggested the crater looks big, which suggests it was could be a cruise missile that has gone astray.

The Americans will gas such detailed satellite and traditional radar cover in the area that they will know exactly where it came from and what it was.

Unless we have several senior Russian and/or Ukrainian military personnel posting on here, between bombing missions, most of this thread is opinion. ;)

We STILL don't know where Drago has got to. :-/

Russian guided missiles seem to have a certain factor of
"It'll hit something over thataway"

but they are already saying it is possible it was knocked off course by anti aircraft fire

funny that happens during the G20

AND just before trump is due to announce $something

suggests that it is not an accident
It isn't as in 100 missiles like they fired yesterday requires planning. On paper Russian kh-100 kalibr are quite precise however theory an reality are two different things especially if it concerns Russian claims.

Yeah most osint yesterday already had compared images of debris and previous s300 craters to conclude is was more likely an stray air defence missile.

Well even if that would be the case it isn't that they never lie/mislead etc. Their offensive in Karkiv was so succesfull because they mislead Russia into thinking they would attack Kherson

So no call for escalation in return then.

Zelensky is doing what he has to to drum up more support from allies, as he has been doing, with justification, since the start of the invasion... sorry, special operation.

The number of missile attacks on Ukraine in recent days is escalation. Missile attacks on Russian cities and territory would be escalation. What Ukraine is doing in Ukraine is defense.

Thanks I wont worry now that Zelensky goes on television and makes unevidenced accusations that could result in nuclear armageddon ?
But like you say it's justified,it's how you drum up more support.

Indeed, once the Polish government themselves have said it was an accident, there's little to gain in exaggerating the situation.

Pleased to see you are so concerned about Zelensky's rhetoric as his country is being systematically destroyed, but are apparently not concerned enough to criticise the totally unwarranted escalation of illegal missile attacks on Ukraine civilian infrastructure by Russia in an attempt to destroy the morale and will to resist of the citizens.

Words by the leader of the country being bombed will not turn this war nuclear but Russia's determination to destroy Ukraine to bolster Putin's hold on power just might.

I don't think anyone is questioning Putin's lead role in the war. I think all Adam was pointing out was that Zelenskiy's insistence on blaming Russia even after Poland acknowledged it was likely not Russia that fired this particular missile, seems a bit strange.
