To be fair, it worked out quite well for Abba.
Despite the UK jury giving them null points.

Welcome to the BDS movement, Comrade.
I don't have a strong opinion* on which countries should attend, but it seems there's a difference between Israel and Russia:
one of these countries has invaded another nation competing at Eurovision, the other is involved with an internal conflict (i.e. Palestine don't have a team competing in this tournament).
Internal conflict? You would deny the right of Palestinians to their own homeland?
Are you still beating up the homeless on the High Street?
Too busy woenking over Megan pictures? You need to kick that habit too.I haven't started yet,

You've completely lost me now.
Maybe focus on the topic old man? Or maybe talk about your disgusting habits if you prefer ...
The business end of Eurovision 2026 has been reached and 5 broadcasters are boycotting the show, for the same reasons as last year but on a bigger scale.

Because it's about Eurovision. Not Europe. Anyone who is a member of the EBU can participate - so that includes Israel ,Morocco, Azerbajan etc. Australia was a bit of an exception as they are such massive fans they joined for reasons of ££££.Why not simply limit entries to those Countries actually IN Europe (the continent, not the Political construct), as the name of the Competition implies?
