I think its the bare faced lies and contempt for the public from Boris Johnson and cabinet ministers that sticks in the craw for the millions of us that gave up so much last year, including the hundreds of thousands that lost loved ones and were unable to say goodbye. There is an awful lot going on, you're right, this Government have been ever so busy steadily increasing their rights while reducing everybody elses, including yours by the way.
Unfortunately, this has, in the main, been studiously ignored by the media, but this is cutting through, and the more people see things like this, and Barnard Castle, the more they'll start to look at Johnson and his cronies and realise that what they're doing doesn't only affect others, and eventually it may finally click with enough people that they couldn't give a shoot about any of us.
The party is far from trivial, because it's a microcosm of this government and their opinion of themselves and of the UK and its population.
