Yet more Tory sleaze….

If you haven't been for a while, I've got some bad news for you about ashtrays ...

I'm surprised the Tories haven't suggesting reversing the smoking ban with some bollocks about Churchill and cigars.

That's because you're clearly an idiot, lets hope Labour will get us all out on strike at the drop of a hat while we're at it.

Or is it possibly because you didn't understand the allusion? Starmer has shown no interest in going back to the militant Trotskyish Labour Party of the 1970s (that's more Corbyn's bag). Whereas Boris is trumpeting about bringing back pounds and ounces and wanting to be Churchill. Thus it wouldn't be a surprise if he decided to go the full Farage.

The Guardian is reporting that several Tory MPs believe there are now 54 letters of no confidence in Johnson, though their article doesn't quite claim the trigger number has been reached completely. So the vote of confidence will be having the pig greasing himself just in case but chances are most other Tories won't dare vote against him. If the challenge fails, it's 18 months before a new no confidence vote will be possible. He'll likely be still there come the next general election. And then we'll need international scrutineers.

There appears to be a very easy solution to the numbers of arrivals and where they may live, I don't understand why it isn't being called for loudly.

97,900 people offered to house a Ukranian refugee, and so far 42,600 have arrived. Why not simply contact the 55,300 households and say that because of urgent need they will be matched to a newly arrived Syrian refugee instead. It won't be a 28 Ukranian lady with a small child and may well be a 39 Syrian male with a 15 year old son, but hey, they all need urgent help don't they, so essentially there is no difference at all is there?
