And in other news - Another person is claiming physical and verbal abuse by a Tory MP

Although in this case the supposed victim is Andrew Bridgen who used to be a Tory and is now - at the time of typing anyway - I think Reform

so personally I would just say someone I can see the accused person's temptation
I mean - I don;t approve of violence in pretty much any circumstance - but I have been tempted to smack him over the head myself several times when watching him speak in Parliament and on TV shows!

Andrew Bridgen is claimg to be a victim of abuse? This Andrew Bridgen...

'In April 2022, High Court Judge Brian Rawlings ruled against Bridgen, stating that he "lied under oath and behaved in an abusive, arrogant and aggressive manner", was "an unreliable and combative witness who tried to conceal his own misconduct", and "gave evasive and argumentative answers and tangential speeches that avoided answering the questions". After losing the case, Bridgen stated that "in actuality I won the case"'

So, in terms of people lining up to give him a slap round the head we should probably reserve a place for that judge
and probably his own lawyer I suspect

The judges comments do form a rather good thing for the defence of the other MP to bring up when Bridgen gives his evidence

Apparently Peter Bone has been suspended from Parliament

Note - been suspended - not wearing suspenders

that is something different (sorry about the mental image!)

It appears the story behind Lloyds seizing the Torygraph goes back near 12 years. Between the lines it infers the Barclays had been plundering their empire but eventually got outmaneuvered.
It might well be the Barclay Brexit campaign was an attempt to prolong the almost Maxwell like financing, the EU of course far heavier on financial oversight of offshore schemes. The Times, the source, also reported their debt at £1.6B
