I didn't click on the link, but I'll be honest I was just a little bit tempted.

Welcome yourself into the new modern crisis
I think that, 'brutal,' and, 'battered,' might be over selling it.

I once watched two, 'ladies,' drag each other by the hair into the road outside The Griffin Inn in Bolton town centre with far more enthusiasm than that.

Well yeah, it's all in the editing really, isn't it?

'..Sam Richards now runs Britain Remade, campaigning for more renewable energy. He pointed out that some polling showed Tories getting just 1% of the young vote, suggesting this change in policy and rhetoric may be short-lived if the party wants to court younger voters, for whom the climate crisis is a top priority.'

Also makes me wonder how many Brexit voters are deceased since that particular vote.

We better pay better attention to these speeches.
Somewhere there, we missed the little asterisk.

So - just examples and other deserving projects could receive the money instead

possibly in a more Southern location

or a location where there is a seat they want to win at the next election and needs a "boost"

or - while I am being cynical anyway - in a location where the project is being pushed by a major Tory donor who used to be a less major Tory donor until recently???

not that I am implying anything

of course
