If the 'will of the people' forced this one back on the agenda, which way do you think a referendum on the re-introduction on capital punishment would go?

Farage as campaign manager and a catchy slogan such as "get them hung".....you might be on to something there.

I rather think, for any Politician, the thought has to be "do not hold a referendum, on any subject, unless you are VERY sure of what the outcome will be".

I disagree. I think they know pretty well which way 'the great unwashed' will vote since they've manipulated a large core of them into dancing to their tune anyway.
