Would this have been any different before brexit, though. UK always had full control on third country visas.
More than likely a technicality,but still embarrassing ! He's a professional athlete who has already spent God knows how many days racing/training in Europe this year.

It's essentially racist, but deniably so. Some Indians were denied entry for LEL this year. Mind you, France has similar form with respect to PBP.

Let's be honest it happens a lot.Usually the riders who are selected can get visas in time,maybe this time they left it late.Who knows.

There was no suggestion from Audax India that the riders were to blame.

I don't doubt you...but in this case I'm not sure yet if it isn't just some visa complications or similar.

Knowing how this Tory government operates, I wouldn’t be surprised if they wanted to avoid the possibility of any of the Eritreans seeking asylum once here. The success rate for Eritrean claimants is typically 97%.

I'm not sure about the other riders regarding visas.
