The UKs nuclear fusion lab JET is closing after 40 years. That’s ok, as it is old. The problem is the way forward. Do we invest with the 3 largest economies on earth. Or plough our own little furrow?

“the new Iter reactor in southern France is the world's largest fusion project and is a consortium of many countries including the EU, Russia, the US and China - but a few weeks ago the UK government confirmed the UK would not play a role.
"In line with the preferences of the UK fusion sector, the UK has decided to pursue a domestic fusion energy strategy instead of associating with the EU's Euratom programme," the government said.

We have free power from wind and solar. Both solar and onshore wind are ultra cheap too.

'Such trophy assets coming up for sale are rare: it was last on the block in 2004, and its close relationship with the government and right-leaning readers gives a buyer immeasurable potential political influence.'

What does it has to do with Brexit? Apart you blaming the Telegraph for organizing it or something?

I think the small print says 'where circumstances allow'.
Proper baking potatoes were hard to find last winter. Some were impressively tiny.
