So do we need a word that you say in another thread that means you need to look in this thread. So you don’t get that M thing or the B thing. It could be Tonto.

Haha, that might confuse the natives. "Why do all those weird BR people keep on mentioning a fictional horse randomly in the middle of threads?"

Now here was me thinking it was a reference to Elton John. And no, I am not having a sing song.
I can imagine 'Wonderful wizard of Oz' sung with a strong brummie accent ^_^
Funny thing is, I immediately pictured Timothy Spall. He's not even a Brummie. 80s TV has a lot to answer for.
Did enjoy Auf Wiedersehen, Pet though.

Little known (and relevant) fact, his first acting role was in a school play of Wizard of Oz, as the lion.

On here I’m a new member but on the rest of the forum I’m an active member.🤷🏼‍♂️

Well, you've only posted here twice. Not sure how many posts you need here to become an upright 'member', like wot Pinno and I am (we're both over 50).

Brum is the only accent in the world where you can announce something unequivocally positive and it will come over totally bland and negative.
Imagine: "oo whack, I won 2 million on the lottery. I think i'll get the brakes fixed on me van. I dunno".

I do enjoy a contextual fact PB!

The thing about Brummie accents as portrayed by non brummies is that the vast majority have those elongated vowels "ooorite maaate" which nobody from Birmingham has. That is far closer to the Black Country diction.

When I lived in London, I was routinely mistaken as Irish, occasionally Australian and once even South African(?).

So Heathrow is out of action completely today - that'll be utter chaos for the next few days.
Which of Pootin's agents set fire to the electricity substation then?

This would be a pretty wild way to make military decisions...
