Little update to titillate you all:

We secured an injunction at the end of last year via the local ASB team. Took a while because the junkie had to be served his summons in person, didn't answer the door...so back to court...same again...eventually served
...didn't turn up to court...so more delay until injunction served in his absence. Zero problems from him since, that I know of. Almost no sightings. We suspect he was mostly living somewhere else in order to not fall foul of injunction. Good news all round, not so much for me personally, but for the residents of the sheltered housing.

Anyway that's not really the news.

Thought I'd let you know what he did in the nearby town last week. Especially for the ears of people like Rusty Fails who mocked my concern for the vulnerable elderly neighbours, and Rusty's little tugnut, Fozy Tornip, the poster who referred to himself as "a hyena who hunts alone".

He robbed an 85 year old man with violence.

I have nothing to apologise for in mocking your vainglorious attitude, in fact I stand by this post:

Sounds just like what most of us consider the sort of stuff that being a neighbour entails, and, of course, which none of us have ever had any experience of, never mind banging on about it on the internet.

Pleased to hear that your local old folks have had a period of respite, but, sadly, it probably means that, somewhere, some other vulnerable innocents are having to suffer this waste of fresh air.

Not anymore. The twät is in prison on remand. Unfortunately an old man suffered at his hands last week in the nearby town. He was also lifted and bailed for GBH 3 days before.

Community is very relieved. I don't remember if I posted about this but last autumn he was kicking off in the street outside the shop he thieved from. About four of us surrounded him, which he didn't like. very much at all. Made all sorts of threats, which we duly logged.

I don't know to be honest. I've not seen any here. The PCSOs were actually very proactive, frequent local meetings, and calling in on people, checking up on them and keeping them informed. Whilst the younger locals, like me, weren't taking any of his shît the older ones were really petrified of him. The council put up a camera outside his house which coincided with a big reduction in activity.

Unfortunately I think it just pushed it further afield.
