However you'd like to phrase he won, bigly, landslide, just over the line.

Not bigly.

And if prices drop that means negative inflation, something economists more than hate and send businesses into apoplexy, laying off people, cutting costs madly, etc. One of the aspects many of the public know but probably overlook is that lower inflation just means prices continue to increase, just not as quickly.True and that gives Trump a problem. As I mentioned, the mid-terms are in just 2 years and he has to deliver.
He campiagned on lower prices but, if he goes through with tariffs, prices will skyrocket, giving one example.

Getting rid of immigrants will be another. Who will do the domestic services that Americans will not do? Who will man the gas stations, supermarkets, drive the cabs etc.?

Just as in the UK (or, anywhere else) he does NOT have to deliver, he has to convince or fool people into believing he has delivered, and/or, have scape-goats lined up if necessary.
It doesn't matter whether he delivers on his promises to the magas, he didn't before and that didn't matter, and unless he can change the constitution, he won't be standing for election again, so they are no use to him anymore. It looks like the main agenda will be stripping the federal budget , cutting taxes for his billionaire cronies and running up the deficit.
We tried deluded morons as leader, it didn't go well.If only we had a leader like this
Given the Supreme Court has already ridden roughshod over the 14th Amendment with cases such as Dobbs which overturned Roe v Wade and Trump V Anderson, I have little doubt that plans have been in place for sometime to overturn the 2 term rule.It doesn't matter whether he delivers on his promises to the magas, he didn't before and that didn't matter, and unless he can change the constitution, he won't be standing for election again, so they are no use to him anymore. Like Johnson did to UK Parliament (and without consequences - so much for democracy).Less widely reported are Trump's comments to recess Congress in order to get his appointments through. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-recess-appointments-adjourning-congress/
