The UK and other European countries are just hiding behind laws they created to hinder deportation if illegals and criminal foreigners

Trump has now clearly publicised to the countries suffering mass illegal immigration how straightforward it is to deport if the administration has the will to do so.

Not really.
It only works if you have a massive economy and the ability to impose 25% tariffs on smaller countries.

The economic imbalance of a 25% tariff between USA and Colombia is huge.

The UK doesn’t have that sort of leverage.

So when are they deporting that illegal South African immigrant that is running Xitter into the ground? Or is it that only brown people can be illegal?

Not sur eif this has already been mentioned but trump is suggesting all the poepl from Gaza should "be moved" to other countries

Hmm - property developer - lots of coastline - wonder what his plan is??

but the worrying thing is his concept of moving them

what is that definition of evil??

“There’s no greys, only white that’s got grubby. I’m surprised you don’t know that. And sin, young man, is when you treat people as things. Including yourself. That’s what sin is.’
‘It’s a lot more complicated than that -’
‘No. It ain’t. When people say things are a lot more complicated than that, they means they’re getting worried that they won’t like the truth. People as things, that’s where it starts.”

― Terry Pratchett, Carpe Jugulum

Personally I think trump needs a good one-to-one conversation with Mistress Weatherwax

The UK pays hundreds of millions in aid to many countries. They could easily say this will stop tomorrow

I find is disappointing how US seems to think that bullying other countries into accepting their will shows “Today’s events make clear to the world that America is respected again.” (White House Statement). It's like this has become some sort of ego competition.

Forcing one will on others often results in a zero-sum game whereas negotiating and agreeing can benefit all parties.

Still, "bullies always get their comeuppance". Some countries might be in a position where they can be bullied but not all countries/blocks are.
