At the risk of being 'splainy, having kids doesn't make you exempt from exhibiting Incel traits. Changing your avatar on Twitter to Pepe is pretty peak Incel behaviour.

Here's another, who also has multiple children with (I believe) different women:

We can all play pin the traits to the donkey when it comes to people we don’t like, but I suspect icowden’s comment about possible autism/Asperger’s is more accurate, if a bit less self-indulgent.

I think Xipe meant that Musk and then partner Grimes used a surrogate, not that he 'buys' his partners, who mostly seem to be successful women in their own right.

I was working off this definition
member of an online community of young men who consider themselves unable to attract women sexually, typically associated with views that are hostile towards women and men who are sexually active.
Given that he appears to be sexually active, doesn't appear to be actively hostile towards women and has had multiple sexual partners, it's hard to see what traits he is exhibiting.

I'd say that he exhibits some pretty standard sociopathic autistic traits.

I am not sure that even Xipe knows, or wants us to know, exactly what they mean in their posts.

They did after their first child. There is an interview here:

Their relationship seems very similar to friends of mine who are a couple, but both autistic. No kids for them, but they live together happily but separately (seperate bedrooms etc).

That's part of the definition, sure, but it's a lot broader than that.

Hell, one of Musks own children called him out for being an Incel.

I'd agree that sociopathic autism is probably more accurate, especially as Incel has almost become a comedy catch all terms for angry wee men hiding away online.

Like 'Karen' and many other terms, incel has become a meaningless insult. It's just another phrase meant to demean anybody you don't like. If Musk is an incel ('involuntary celibate') half the men in the western world probably qualify as incels too.

Determining the reputation of a parent from the disgruntled comments of one of their children, is not generally reliable, in my experience. ;)

A surprising amount of Musk-defence in this thread. Curious.

You're not getting any of his money, y'know.

But maybe the behaviour of parent to child, tolerance, support, etc. from parent can be taken as an indication of character.

Could be, if you have reliable, impartial evidence of same. I would add, I don't "do" X(twitter), and, have zero interest in Musk's (or anyonelse's clickbait.

Not spotted the Musk-defence, just the usual knee-jerk insults.

The bloke is a very dangerous clown who will probably move on from attacking Starmer & co when somebody else has a pop at him.

I’m loaded so don’t need his money, but if he wants me to defend him for a share of it I’m a great believer in Marxism…Groucho that is.

Yup - shame really

It'll probably fizzle out when musk gets distracted by some other bright lights

he really doesn't seem to be able to grasp much inthe way of reality for a "very intelligent man"

I just hope that he manages to screw Farage before he gets bored with it
but as Farage owns 60% (I think) of Reform UK then there is no way for him to be deposed as leader

he does keep saying he is going to sell his shares and "democratise" it but I'm not sure his dictionary defines democracy the same as mine

One aspect to current Trump shenanigans that's surprising me is how his family are not (yet?) involved.

I regard as Trump being in it for himself; to him the Republican Party is a convenient vehicle, the electorate a necessary evil. So assuming he doesn't manage to change the Constitution to give himself a 3rd term, beyond revenge and financial gain I'd assumed that he'd be looking to have family members step into his post in 4 years. But for dynasty to continue I'd be expecting some children to be in more prominent senior positions, yet from everything I've seen they are mostly just making occasional Social Media posts.
