Payback to Musk starts?
US Department of State plans to spend $400m on Tesla armoured vehicles
A procurement forecast produced by the department showed the $400m (£320m) proposed spending on “armoured Tesla (production units)”. They are likely to be Cybertrucks, the newest model of the company’s electric pickup, given Musk’s claims that the vehicle is bulletproof.
(from https://www.theguardian.com/technol...end-400m-on-tesla-armoured-vehicles-elon-musk)
and then when it was noticed
However, another version showed the entry was “modified” on Wednesday evening, apparently after the procurement was first reported by Drop Site News, an independent outlet. That entry was identical to the previous version except that the reference to “Tesla” was removed.

But in fairness, maybe "Conspiracy Theory", maybe not as the initial projection for the money to Tesla was after Trump/Musk had been elected but before he took office ie during the handover period ...

Who was in charge in 2018?

That's right, your favourite orange rapist.

Like some undercover exposé journalists reports. There have been many many things going on under the radar for decades. Government bodies, NGOs have expanded unchecked in number and the $$$$ gobbled up from the tax payer

Not anymore

More money being wasted on poor people in a war-torn 3rd-world country.

Hard to believe, isn't it?

Cultural heritage?

Saudi Arabia, how much oil have they got. Why aren't British mugs taxpayers funding her, what looks like a cushy number NGO. I bet she takes a lovely salary to help preserve their cultural heritage.

OK ... TurquoiseMountain mainly work in Afghanistan. I didn't realise they did anything for SaudiArabia - mea culpa - can your buddies tell us the split?
(and as the money isn't going to Britain, I don't know why you think British taxpayers are more likely to fund them than US ones 🤷‍♀️

I'm just glad to see there is President cutting waste for the US taxpayer.

Oh we can only dream in the UK of someone like President Trump 😄

So our Trump Fanboy didn't spot that the US$2.7 trillion improper payments is spookily the identical amount the Government Accountability Office (GAO) identified back in Oct 2024 across they entire Federal Government since 2003 and the Subcommittee on Government Operations and the Federal Workforce held hearings about.

Nothing to do with DOGY, nor Musk, nor Trump.

Amazed somebody focusing so closely on the US does not spot things like this or is it all just superficial Social Media twaddle being blindly sucked-up?
