Currently voting in the House on Lords amendment 102 of the illegal migration Bill

amendment would require the council to furnish asylum seekers with information about what support they are entitled to and what organisation offer advise.

In other words the Tory party are trying to remove an amendment that makes sur e that migrants- whether legal or not - get the information about their rights

why would you not want these people to know what their rights are????

edit - it was rejected due to Tory party voting

It's like Suella is taking stupid pills.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-66637145

Her latest farking stupid idea is tagging asylum seekers. There are 175,000 people waiting for a decision and a tag costs £13 per day. So on top of accommodation costs she wants to spend £2.2 million per day on tagging people before spending even more money to send them to Rwanda at even more cost.

Does she even own a farking calculator? This is so far beyond stupid it's almost an alternate universe.

JUST PROCESS THE FARKING ASYLUM CLAIMS

It's like Suella is taking stupid pills.

I sometimes wonder if "stupid pills" are made by seperating the pure stupidity from a sample her blood system and making it into tablet form

This does presume she has a blood system and not just a system pumping Boris flavoured Tory party policy around her system in liquid form

(apologies to anyone who threw up at the phrase "Boris Flavoured")

Yes, but she’d be spending that withTory donating companies, so it’s all good.

I can never see the word economics without thinking of Terry Pratchet's etymological definition / mistranslation:

The reflected sound as of underground spirits

Echo Gnomics

  • Laugh
Reactions: C R

The thing about trickle down economics is that it takes money given to elected - and therefore accountable (in theory) leaders

Then gives to corporations and companies and generally rich people

Then these people decide who gets it

That is literally how it is supposed to work

I stopped looking at this thread after the first page as one poster trashed the thread from post #3.

What with that and the God squad content, it just became noise.

I'm one of those people who tries not to use the words that pertain to mental illness, though I do use the word 'idiot' against those people who try to take me for one. I also try to buck the trend to the now overused term 'insane' but don't always succeed. In short I'm not as good a person with regard to this as I try to be.

However I do believe that Suella Braverman is not just 'thick' as others note, but is actually clinically unwell.

I see one poster (I forget who brought Joan Salter's anger with her into the thread) and quite rightly.

Here's a few more short clips of Braverman's other lapses of judgement, incompetence, and craziness while in government.

'health warning, it's project fear, there's no legal basis for an EU settlement'

If you don't like rational argument you don't have to look at it, but don't keep passing it off as some sort of abuse. If you want an echo chamber, go find one.

How do you, know? You stopped reading it at the end of the first page,

It's possible but she is also poorly briefed or lazy. She demonstrates in the clips that she has a lack of understanding of the things she is working on, and when challenged her ignorance lets her down. She isn't quick enough to fall back on the traditional "not answering the question but answering a question that wasn't asked" defence.

Happily, she is no longer a cabinet minister although she is still agitating behind the scenes backed by other frothing swivel eyed loons.
