They can included under their sex not how they perceive themselves

That is why all well, just about all governing bodies in whole plethora of sports banned TiMs from women's sports.

Universal rights protect people from discrimination regardless of sex or how others might perceive it. Trans people have an equal right not to be discriminated against - that is the law in the UK.

With regard to the HRA

The case law relating to this right has shown that the term ‘other status’ includes sexual orientation, illegitimacy, marital status, trade union membership, transsexual status and imprisonment. It can also be used to challenge discrimination on the basis of age or disability.

This precedes the 2004 GRA and the 2010 EqA from which both flow.

There are at least 418 US boys of 17 and under alone who have run faster than the Women's 100m World Record. Thousands of men have run faster - and her record is widely regarded as drug assisted.

You have to go to page 5 to find U18 boys who are slower. Some of them will have been shorter than Flo Jo. Height is one contributing factor. It pales into insignificance compared to the advantage of being male.

These bat sh#t arguments are so tiresome.
All so these men can pretend to be women and have us all go along with the pretence.

Frankly dont care, dont want to see males in women's sports or anywhere else that's for women only.

Won't support or entertain it

There are more than two contributory factors as you will know.#

At the age of 17 a male is not typically fully developed muscularly, though some may be. Though do remember we are talking about data averages here.

At this age, the growth in bones is not yet accompanied by the muscle mass which will follow later. The advantage comes from lighter build, hence lighter weight, the narrowness of the hips and the high blood testosterone level.

Later upper body development will become a disadvantage in this discipline but an advantage in others.

Please don't pretend that I am saying that male biology is no advantage. That clearly isn't the case. But let's not pretend male biology is the only advantage, or that it is a dominating advantage in every competition.

Let's not pretend that the removal of all athletes who are either trans or have a DSD will have the effect of making sport an even playing field - it is the very existence of their not being an uneven playing field that produces winners and lowers. How genes are handed down doesn't make life fair.

Let's not pretend that the removal of all athletes who are either trans or have a DSD will have the effect of making sport an even playing field.

It will definitely help. No more situations like the 2016 Women's 800m Olympic final with 3 male dsd athletes taking gold, silver, and bronze. No more 43 year old men like Laurel Hubbard taking an Olympic place from women 20 years younger. No more men who are uncompetitive as males taking scholarships, podium places, rankings, and medals from girls and women.

Sanity continues to return.

Looks like no more having to call a male defendent a woman. We just need news reporting to start being honest again now because these are not women's crimes.

Three people who are not trans. And one who is 43 years old and failed every attempt, therefore coming dead last. Hardly a threat to other athletes or the reputation of the games.

In one breath you seem to deny age as a factor, but for the second time you raise the age of the competitor.

3 dsd athletes who are male and as such took places and medals from women.

The fact he could qualify for the Olympics at age 43 in a sport where athletes peak in their mid 20's shows that it was male advantage that got him there.

He took a place from a young woman. That weight category has now been scrapped so her opportunity will never come again.

It tarnishes the Olympics when blatant unfairness is tolerated just as much as tolerating doping does.

You brought up dsd. Again in the Olympics they were males in women's events. I'm beginning to believe these African countries are seeking out these children and training them up in the hope of capturing medals. Well they did but now will be tested before major competitions or to provide biological passport.
