Seems fair enough as there were at least 2 previous offences that I could find, before the latest one which also included breaching a restraining order. Good that the police in Barrow take breaching restraining orders seriously. They often don't.

Seems to be a couple actually, and the abuse has been protracted over a 4 month period:-

The 54-year-old, of Harrison Street, is accused of harassing Paul Lowden and Mandy Chubb between December 10 and April 8 by attending their place of work on numerous occasions and shouting abuse towards them.

I'd expect that sort of sentence regardless of whether one of the people is transgendered.

Just maybe the problem is a country where every grievance can be satisfied by easy access to guns?
