This article suggests that whilst they may have to charge vat they may be able to reduce the effects of this by breaking down fees to parents into costs which are due vat and ones which aren't. Schools will also become vat exempt for some costs like building work and may be able to claim vat back for big projects done in the previous 10 years.

I think somehow Andy's algorithm is invading my social media. Of the strangers suggested to me as friends on Facebook this morning, over half of them had changed their profile pictures to a variation of the "Reform" logo.

A Reform UK election candidate has disowned the party and is instead backing the local Conservative candidate.
Liam Booth-Isherwood, who is standing in Erewash, said there was a “significant moral issue” in parts of the party following what he called “reports of widespread racism and sexism”.
He added that the failure of the party’s leadership to address the issue means he no longer wants to be associated with it.

What did he think Reform is about?

Thinking about it, my fiancée's aunt* will be voting Reform so that may have an influence too. Although she hasn't been suggested.

The mainstream parties have enough trouble with sexists, racists, and alleged sex offenders. When you cobble a load of candidates together in 5 minutes to fight an election it'll be even harder to keep track of who's dodgy.

At a wild guess, that'll be him hastily running away, attempting to duck under the radar before an online history of grotesque racism & sexism connected to him comes to light. I'd put at least 50p on it.

I presume you mean they shouldn't have let him in as he wasn't dodgy enough.
