To be precise, they have bombed and shot 2.3 million people out of their towns and into the furthest corner of Gaza, killing 30k people (mostly women and children) in the process and are continuing to attack them.

What is happening in Gaza is beyond dreadful.

Peace and security for all must be a priority.

However, if the intention of the IDF is to wipe out the population of Gaza, they are not being terribly effective at it, given their overwhelming military advantage.

Because even they know they could not "wipe out" two million people militarily without turning those countries who currently support and bolster them against them.

The aim is to either get the Gazans to leave or accept subjugation within their own country.

It would have been 0 zero null, Nada, Noppes if Hamas didn't attack on the 7 of October last year. Despite before they 7 October they regularly launched rockets too, Isreal just countered them all.

Israeli settlers and the IDF have been murdering palestinian civilians pretty much on a daily basis for decades, and continue to do so, so even without the slaughter in Gaza, there are regular killings. Of course unlike 7/10, those deaths barely get mentioned in the media.
