It isn't a ''weak defense''; it's outrageous farking nonsense.

As I tried to point out the other day, 'semite' means Arabic. Israel's violence against Palestinian civilians is anti-semetic. Hamas's violence against Jewish civilians in Israel is anti-semetic.

Before either Israel or Hamas start bandying that word around against others, they need to stop their anti-semitic violence.

Any criticism of Israel or its citizens is anti-semitism.

Pointing out the illegal occupation of the West Bank is anti-semitism.

Marching for a ceasefire is anti-semitism.

Allowing yourself to be beaten up by Israeli football thugs is also anti-semitism.

(I think you get the idea…)

It's been 24 hours since the ICC issued a warrant for Netanyahu. I wonder how many times Starmer has composed a tweet and then backspaced to start again.

He was immediate with his response in relation to Putin...

I find Starmer (and thus UK's) response "disappointing" (or a lot worse). Many other countries immediately making public statements that they will implement the warrant. Yet even on Radio 4 this morning when directly asked Yvette Cooper was worming her way round the question giving non-answers.

Last night on Channel 4 News Geoffrey Robertson KC (previously a UN Warcrimes Judge) "... we can see on our televisions war crimes every night ..."

I looked for the report and accompanying video that I had seen on Twitter but I couldn’t find it. Oh well. I thought I’d bookmarked it.

You are free to ignore that example, if you like.

On Thursday, in footage verified by Reuters, Maccabi supporters were filmed in front of the National Monument on Dam Square chanting: “F*** you Palestine”.

Maccabi also have a problematic history with a section of their support, with their ultras group having been previously accused of using racist language.

Yes they are no angels just like most football supporters, however it turned out that initial reports that they assaulted Taxi drivers was wrong, the taxi drivers where attacking them. A other quote from police officers at the scene ''when we told them they put stickers on our international war monument they immediately removed it. ''
However a discussion about how bad football fans are is for a other topic, point is claims in Dutch and other(international) media where they attacked Taxi drivers and now is has come to surface that it wasn't the taxi drivers being attacked is was them doing the attacking.
(and that came from the police as by their official press statements)

No it isn't but as someone born in the Netherlands with more then enough FF in Amsterdam i think i know a little bit more about the subject then you left-wing propaganda website tells you.
Do you known the same people who attacked this people because their are jews also harras people because they are gay, trans, lesbian etc. etc. Is that also a convenient fact for you to overlook in this topic?

I've never visited the Netherlands and so I do not know too much about Amsterdam. However I doubt that I need to know Amsterdam to know that bigots who harass muslims are also likely to harass other minority groups including the ones that you mention.

There's plenty of footage to show that thugs targeted people who were carrying Palestinian flags, including thugs wrapped in blue with the Star of Saint David.

I also know that there other groups outside of the Muslim / Jew binary who will just join in with the violence.

I also know that there will people in the area not wishing to be involved beyond being lawful football supporters.
