It's one of those uncomfortable facts that, wherever you get movements struggling against oppressors, you get atrocities on both sides. In fact atrocities happen wherever there is conflict.

Rape though? It's not like it's an inevitable part and parcel of armed conflict. Rape isn't an instrument, the use of which frees you from oppression.

Perhaps you should write nicely to the IDF, Hamas, the Congo separatists and any others, asking them to stop.

Perhaps you could stop regarding raping people as an inevitable part of the human condition. There's no need whatsoever for sexual assault to play a part in the struggle against oppression.

As I said, write and tell them that. See where it gets you. All violence is horrible, but no-one has yet found the way to stop it. Perhaps you could try.

There may follow the inevitable discussion of "freedom fighters" vs "terrorists", but, leaving that to one side, isn't the whole point of "terrorism" to spread terror (the clue is in the name), in pursuance of a cause. Hence, the committing of various hideous acts is used to achieve that end (ie the spreading of terror) and, hence achieve the object of the terrorist.
None of the above implies I support or agree with such acts.

I think the Israeli they had on the BBC news Rami Igra the former head of Mossad Prisoners and Missing Persons Department explained it very well, to para phrase what he said Hamas made a mistake couldn't find the real body or didn't know where the real body was this is a war zone these things happen, not that it will stop Israel form using it to stir further hatred. Of course the two children of the woman whose body is missing were murdered probably by an Israeli bomb.

You'd think the mother's body would be next to the children's bodies if they were killed by a bomb as claimed and therefore easy to locate. They would know by the clothes at least.
Instead there's a (presumably Gazan) family who have a mother or daughter unaccounted for because Hamas decided to put a random body in a coffin because they were under pressure to produce the remains of the Bibas family. I think Hamas did their fair share of hatred stirring when they turned the handing over of remains into a public party.

If you are genuinely interested on why that probably isn't the case, then i hope this short clip helps and rather than write in words, best to use your imagination on this one... By the way, Israel are in possession of a number of bombs, ranging from 250lbs to 2000lbs and were used extensively. Biden's administration shipped thousands of 2000lb bombs to Israel.
