Yeah, i read that interview. He seemed to be very careful with his words (probably had some team PR briefing), but I liked what he said:
Basically, these people have a right to protest, to be seen - they understandably feel very strongly about their cause.

The last few stages I've noticed lots of normal-sized flags being waved safely, by average-looking fans on the packed mountain sections. Which is good.

Why is that?

I'm still left wondering why you haven't made the same demand in relation to individual instances of civilian deaths in Gaza.

Yes, you 'condemn all civilian deaths everywhere blah blah' but you singled out this instance of Israeli deaths and invited condemnation. Why have you never done that with any of the atrocities committed by Israel?
