So far on our street I can see one house with a bit of bunting and an upside down Union flag. I'm not convinced anyone's actually organised anything as such, beyond the road closure. I know they went looking for bunting on Monday and it was all sold out, and they forgot to post the invitations to the bottom half of the street and to the next street over so the 'party' might just be a few of the neigbours standing around awkwardly trying to make small talk and listening to whatever terrible taste in music is to the taste of the person bringing the speaker.
Oh yeah, and I was gonna make scones with the kids but we've run out of sugar...

Glasgow City Council has decided not to waste a penny on any celebration, saying that to do so would be “sickeningly offensive”.
The event organised by Perth had to be cancelled because of lack of interest.
