No you're not. That's a lie.

You're embarrassed because a mirror has been held up to people like you for the past few years. You know you've fell for the con that brexit would make your life better but its turned out to be much worse.

So, you're lashing out in embarrassed anger because you haven't got the guts, or the intelligence, to realise you've been conned.

You really do have to listen to what people tell you here pal, you don't live in the Uk any longer so how do you know what anyone over here thinks?

I suppose you rely on your 'family ' that are still here to feed you information or read the online newspaper (gaurdian) reports telling you of our shame and embarrassment?

I'll let you into a little secret shall I, no-one gives a f**k about Brexit that I know and that's the truth.

I work in a team of up to 6 that all voted leave, I must know 20 who go down the local that voted the same and after the initial outcome followed by the frustration of how long it took we barely mention it.

It's just not that important to us, now whether that's because it's such a 'disaster ' I can't say but I can genuinely say I've yet to meet any angry, embarrassed, conned mirror gazers.

You keep telling yourself from afar how we're all crying in our beers and trying to come to terms with our guilt but if you ever return to good old Blighty get yourself out amongst some Brexiteers and conduct yourself a little survey, until that time comes I suggest you stop talking boll*x and refrain from telling people what they feel.

Unlike you obviously, in all fairness coming from Wolverhampton anyone who goes by the name of 'albion' will always be thought of as 'the sh*t' by me.

We were told we were entering a golden age 3 years ago

Just about sums Brexit up....thinking your signing Diego Costa and getting Andy Caroll instead 😍
"Wolves will reportedly consider a move for Andy Carroll if their appeal to sign Diego Costa is rejected."

Nothing to do with brexit then, just a customs mistake……..as you were then.

It is not a customs mistake. They did not have the correct paperwork and the Spanish were quite within their rights to pull them up, albeit overzealous.

Edit - I take that back. There seems to be an EU clarification that allows 'means of transport' to come in temporarily solely by crossing the border. I am not sure if this covers transportation that is not bought in by the owner physically. These guys seem to think no https://www.whitedalton.co.uk/motor...n-a-van-or-on-a-trailer-and-travel-to-france/ but this letter is a bit ambiguous https://www.femamotorcycling.eu/wp-...r_of_roadlegal_vehicles_between_UK_and_EU.pdf

I work in a team of up to 6 that all voted leave,
So that's two of you.

I must know 20 who go down the local that voted the same and after the initial outcome followed by the frustration of how long it took we barely mention it.
I only know one person outside of my immediate family who voted leave. All of my family now regret voting leave.

And yet your view is somehow representative of the country? I'm aware of lots of people who are concerned about spiralling inflation, energy bills, shortages of food, etc. I know people who have lost opportunities because of Brexit and whose businesses have been affected.

Do I win or should we call it a draw and agree that some people only look to themselves whilst others look after those who need it?

People will always look after themselves first and then may look out for others afterwards.........but not everyone has the ability or capability to do both, but that doesnt make them a bad person or you a better one.

Why be a prick?

We work regularly as a 4 and often as a 6, why be a knob?

Your family is no more representative of the country than mine yet you don't seem to pull fookiemister up on anything do you?

Are your family thick racists that got conned and duped that regret their decision every waking hour of their lives?

How is your relationship with them and do you constantly badger them for answers or point out the error of their ways on a daily basis or are you full of sh*t like most on here.

It's incisive debate like this that really makes you shine @shep. The phrase "up to" is one of the most egregiously pointless in the English language. "UP TO 80% off " includes 1% off. If you can't count your team mates it isn't my fault. You work in a team of 6. If two of the team are part time, that doesn't make them not part of the team any more.

Your family is no more representative of the country than mine yet you don't seem to pull fookiemister up on anything do you?
I haven't noticed cookie posting anything that he hasn't backed up. He also doesn't resort to belittling people and swearing, which I was always taught was an indication of a lack of anything intelligent to say.

I think many of them think they were conned. They were taken in, not by the more racist aspects, but by the promises of moving away from Europe and having more money for the NHS.

How is your relationship with them and do you constantly badger them for answers or point out the error of their ways on a daily basis or are you full of sh*t like most on here.
We don't mention it. Most families don't discuss politics unless they are all of one point of view. Politics tends to be a discussion for friends. And yes, I have both Conservative and Labour supporting friends.

Now, getting back to the point...

We know that you have not experienced any issues with Brexit and all of your friends love it. However we also know that you cannot tell us why or what any of the benefits are.

There are many on here who don't like it and can tell you why and what the problems are, and back them up with expert opinion, reports, analyses, etc.

Why do you think that the second group keep banging on about Brexit? If you want us to be quiet and go away, all you have to do is provide some benefits and some expert opinion or analytics that supports it.

I would be over the moon if we found that there were benefits and that it was actually a great decision. I'd be happy to say "d'you know what - I was wrong. Europe is going down the pan and here we are, low unemployment, the economy booming, one of the most powerful countries in the world. What a great decision it was. I was utterly wrong".

Spoiler: That isn't happening. The UK is now a joke around the world. A laughing stock. Our economy is tanking, inflation is spiralling out of control and we have idiots in charge. If you aren't scared and worried about the future, you are very very deluded.

Ok.

I dion't have a family (orphaned as a baby) but I do have the ability to read newspapers (not just one) and the English language newspapers here in Asia are far more incisive, and truthful (remember facts?) in their reporting of brexit than anything in the UK. Also, I do work with many UK citizens here in HK (there are still a lot of us) from many backgrounds and they say the same thing.

No-one gives a f*ck about brexit? Really?

You only mix with people who agree with you. You have a very tight friends bubble and no-one at all is ever allowed to contradict what you believe. So, how the hell do you know?

This BS argument that just because I live outside the UK prevents me from having an opinion (cancel culture anyone?) doesn't wash as Brexit affects me just as much because I have a UK passport. We don't stop caring when the plane leaves the tarmac.

I've never told people how they should feel but I will call out bullshit when I see it. As I said, people like you and Jowwy are lashing out in embarrassed anger because you're not happy with a mirror being held up to you. That's why you, and Jowwy, refuse to answer the simple question of brexit benefits. There are none. You know there are none. But you cannot bring yourselves to admit it.

Several times I've mentioned this and I no longer have the patience, the time, or the crayons, to explain this further to you.

I just refuse to believe, unless you're a multi-miilionaire, that you're not worried about what's coming over the next year or two. As @icowden mentioned, if you're not, you are very deluded and need to lay off the Daily Express branded Kool Aid.

As representative a sample as a couple of blokes up a pole may be, there are others polls available to gauge Brexit buyers remorse, here's a couple
