"Not interested in politics, can't be bothered to engage my brain on, or care about anything that doesn't directly affect me" approach to life, that you seem so very desperate to relate to us

It's not exactly an 'original take' on the world that none of us has ever encountered before .

If you'd not noticed this is a forum for discussing news and current affairs

So that's what we're doing, in our spare moments...

Seems odd that someone who repeatedly says they don't care, and it's all pointless wants to join in..

I enjoy reading your misguided posts to be honest, all the moaning and highlighting of how sh*t everything is they keep getting elected.

Have you ever stopped to think that some people prefer THEM to what YOU seem to stand for?

I've long been aware that people have differing views to my own, yes, thanks .

I've been actively engaged in politics, in one form or another for decades, so that fact is self evident.

As for 'misguided'...

By whom, or what are you 'guided' ??

Apart from the dire offerings of 'newspapers' such as the 'Express' to which you've already confessed.??

I think that the historical view that Labour would ruin the economy, nationalise everything in sight and tax everyone to death have been somewhat undermined by one Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson and his cronies.

You may find that at the next election many people think - "well - they can't be any worse than this lot".

I was more than half asleep this morning when Radio 4 reported an attack by Patel on the BBC, accusing it of xenophobia over her foreigner transportation project. Because I wasn't fully awake, I didn't catch which platform she used for the attack. So, an immigration policy planned to fail, already being used in the war on the oh-so-woke BBC.
