Haha, they put in a process, you all moaned it wasn't fast enough and there were too many checks. They sped it up and this happened, now you are all complaining there were not enough checks!

We can rely on Craig to find humour in any story of exploitation and homelessness.Haha, they put in a process, you all moaned it wasn't fast enough and there were too many checks. They sped it up and this happened, now you are all complaining there were not enough checks!
There are dozens of posts on here complaining that the system was too full of checks and balances and it was all taking too long. Now this has happened it is because there were not enough checks and balances and we didn't check into people enough
Make your fucking minds up people.
Although it does rather prove my point that too many of you on here just moan about the government whatever they do. Here is an exact situation of many of you moaning about both sides of the coin. It's funny to watch.
The excessive checks were on the Ukrainians and not enough checks, education or information for the hosts.Haha, they put in a process, you all moaned it wasn't fast enough and there were too many checks. They sped it up and this happened, now you are all complaining there were not enough checks!

Have you actually read @Beebo's initial post which brought this subject up?
Of course, it even had the obligatory Guardian link to prove it was worthy.
What is your point?
The he criticised the woman who accepted the refugee, not just the government.
But this should be all the woman shouldn't it? The government were clear about the money side of things, and this was all about the money!
Well, yeah. But there isn't any reason not to criticise the system too, is there?
It's flawed. Which is generally agreed upon.
Even the Home Office have accepted there are problems, money being the least of them.
Here's a Telegraph link for you, since you don't like the Grauniad:
https://12ft.io/proxy?q=https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/04/05/home-office-admits-giving-wrong-call-centre-guidance-ukrainian/
She signed up under the rules. Then sneakily tried to scam the refugee for more money and turning a tidy profit. That is not the governments or the systems fault. That is the old baggage trying to scam the lady for personal gain.
Lock her up and give a refugee family her house is my suggestion.
But I didn't claim there has been no criticism. I said the Green councillor in the original post that has started this did not criticise the government for this situation that has developed with the demand for money. Maybe I worded it too confusingly for you, as I actually said....As did I.
And as much as the owner/landlord of the property is being rightly criticised, as @Beebo did initially, the idea that she would make a 'tidy profit' is laughable IMO. You know no better than I do how much she asked for.
As for your solution, also laughable.
Here's some more criticism of the scheme, which you claimed didn't happen:

Why are you all so intent on trying to put words in my mouth? Is it because I am now a seemingly lone voice against you all on this forum? I don't get it.Even the Councillor (Green) is not blaming the government for the cash demand.

In another thread icowden has spent all afternoon arguing with everything I typed, before explaining I was wrong by telling me exactly what I was saying all afternoon! What the bollocks is that about?
