Tried the Armando Ianucci podcast with Stewart Lee, and lasted under 5 minutes, despite liking the scripted stuff of both of them. Seems I'm equally intolerant of sound-only podcasts as video ones, at least when it's just blokes chatting amiably.

This is hilarious. If you "knew what you were getting" at the Premier Inn at Exmouth, it would be a photo of the hotel completely covered in scaffolding with a pathetic little sign saying "Still open for business", as the building seems to have been falling down for a couple of years.

I've twigged that I'm being given dementia tests. I don't *really* need the two new drugs to add to the other five, but they've got long silly names, and they want to see if I can both remember them and pronounce them reliably without dribbling. Sneaky, but I'm still up for being POTUS.

The one on the left is seven years younger than me (I guess being Tory prematurely ages people), and only five years older than the one on the right.

Anyone else finding this site really slow at present? For about the past week, across all my devices and various Wi-Fi and 5G access across virtually the length and breadth of the UK so the only common factor other than the site itself is my Chrome browser (which I've recently cleared the history on to see if that helped).
