I predict Farage will not be PM.

I find it difficult to distinguish between my personal "prediction" and personal "hope" but right now I suspect Reform will slowly decline, Farärtage will not get the ongoing headline coverage his narcissism craves, he'll lose interest, see the US as more lucrative and disappear over there. But that might be more hope than predict.

Listening to Lee Anderson yesterday, the interviewer pointed out that nothing had been gained at the cost of 250k and he came back with ‘we offered to pay’. The interviewer rightly pointed out that that cannot happen but I wish she had possibly spelt out that, rich parties buying by-elections is not democratic and also returned to where does Reform get their money from.

He was also being an arse with the “you people are not nice to us” nonsense.

Were there to be a recall petition I suspect it would get enough signatures. I assume that the vast majority of Count Binface's votes were people who were prepared to make the effort and go vote and saying "Not Färage" (rather than them wanting Count Binface to represent their interests).

For Clacton the number of votes Count Binface got would exceed the 10% threshold needed to for a Recall Petition to succeed and I suspect the vast majority of those voting "Not Färage" would welcome another opportunity to have their voices heard.

Having read 1984 again recently, it’s amazing how the “proles” can be kept happy by being fed any old bullshit, then the party just changes the narrative and they will go along with it, ever if it’s not in their best interests.

A) many “supporters” are not voting FOR Reform, but, AGAINST the established parties

B) many supporters think the cuts will fall on the “skivers”, and, naturally, they don’t see that including themselves
