I suppose it's a good thing that all this has been recognised, and at least having key issues written down shows that solutions are at least being considered.

It isn't going to be easy or quick to sort any of that out.

Hhhmmm. I'm not so sure, purely because all Sunak has left are some very tenuous shoots of economic recovery and he'd want to get all the mileage he can out of that.

On the other hand he might just think "F*ck it, I'm clearly lobbing a massive grenade at Labour" and pull the pin now.

Pundits are saying that fiscal conditions will not allow tax cuts in autumn budget, thus Sunak will want election to occur before the bad news budget.
