He could, but I'm not sure he has much influence on the genocide. Nor on any other country's supplies to Israel.

Edit: I believe that he should, because of Israel's actions, but the riders above still stand and Gazans will be killed in the same numbers...

Fewer weapons will mean a reduced capability to slaughter Palestinians, so that would be a welcome influence, however small.

Another benefit would be increased pressure on other countries not to arm them.

And it would be nice for us not to be complicit in Israel’s war crimes.

He could stop arming Israel tomorrow.

Not without creating a huge problem for the British Military. Private Eye have reported on this for some time. The Conservative Government set up contracts with Elbit, an Israeli Military Technology Company. They supply and develop a large amount of our military electronics and control systems. They have a £500 million pound contract to provide manage the UK Military Flight Training System and they have multiple manufacturing facilities in the UK.

If we stop supplying Israel they will stop providing to the Government and I doubt anyone has checked whether these very high tech systems that they are providing can be shut down remotely. They may also start closing their manufacturing plants.

To be fair, Alex Chalk did previously cancel two contracts with Elbit so there is a precedent but more have been issued since.

Clever move on the part of Israel. Create subordinates of your allies.

Given the status of the UK these days there is not one country who would be influenced by us, nor would it increase pressure on them in any way. No influence is not a welcome influence

Which is what and for whom? Isn't that the problem?

I mean, I'd like to round-up all the Israeli's into their original designated territory, build a f'kin big wall around it and give the Palestinians the keys to the gates and the freedom to come and go as they please....

Even John Crace is starting to have doubts about Starmer

Could multitool have left because they knew what they would be having to defend?

My theory is that Mulitool WAS Starmer

I think it's the accepting of such freebies or donations at all that's the issue, not the legality of it. Here is defending it again:

Why can't he pay for his own posh hospitality ticket? Loads of people on his income do.

If you want to be seen as above corruption and as rejecting allegations of undue influence you have to be prepared to make sacrifices. That might mean buying your own Arsenal ticket or getting your designer glasses at Speccy4eyes.com like everybody else.

Some pensioners of my acquaintance are massive fans of warmth.

On the flip side:-
PENSIONERS throughout the home counties have expressed their anger at not being given free money this winter - instead being subject to means testing.
Said one, "The fact that I'm sitting in a £2 million house with a triple lock pension and £100k savings in the bank, shows how mean I am, and this policy is testing that meanness to the limit."
Another old timer agreed saying "I've saved large amounts of money for a rainy day, and I've checked outside and it's not raining, it's snowing, so give me my free money immediately! It is typical of Labour to target the comfortably off when they could so easily charge students double to go to university. None of the pensioners I meet on the cruises I take every year are made of money - as they've spent it all on themselves"
With apologies to Private Eye.
