Really? Just about a job change? If you're looking to buy a bridge I may have one for you.
It may in overall terms, and compared to what went on with the Tories, not be a huge scandal, but it is an example to show that Starmer is not able to walk on water and is not immune from the effects of cock-ups and criticism. It is an attempt at damage limitation at the early stages of a government with almost 5 years to the next election.
It actually shows how crafty he was to play schtum on policy announcements or anything concrete before the election.

Never thought you were, but while Starmer is nowhere near Johnson/Truss/Sunak yet in terms of incompetence we cannot just gloss over these early hubris/bad judgement cock-ups or they will continue.
