He is leader of 'His Majesty's Loyal Opposition'. Of course he has to say the right things at this time, would you really expect to say either nothing at all or tweet something negative about the monarchy?

Personally, I would not be bothered if no-one tweeted at all, especially politicians.

Although this forum would have a lot less posts.

I think TC was perplexed by the plethora of pointless platitudes.

Probably not a good idea as I would imagine many attendees won't be singing it so it's going to sound a bit naff. I'll be interested to see how it goes though.

They sing one meaningless dirge anyway. Another one won't matter.

I was disappointed today that they didn't sing the da-da-da-da between verses. Perhaps the Labour Party conference will.

When he is running for Labour leader in 25 years he is going to really regret that. He will have to keep his fingers crossed he is running against a woman or a person from a minority.

Or he could just move to Islington I guess.
Does that huge flag not do it for you....don't tell me your still prepared to give the Tories a chance 😂

I always find it amazing that people in the wider labour movement act in such a way as to sabotage the leader's position. Surely even if you are a Corbynite, its better to have Starmer in power than a Tory ( and the same goes for the Tories. In their time in opposition they undermined their own leaders handing victory to Labour)

Starmer may have his faults, but surely he is preferable to another tory government if you are a Labour supporter
