Rachel from accounts has some bad news.

Borrowing in Dec £10 billion higher than forecast 22% above OBR estimate.

Cracking job there Rachel, the private sector is shrinking (wealth creators) business confidence slumped. A millionaire every 45 minutes are leaving the UK.

Here comes more raids on the public, business, slashed services likely too.

It's a bit depressing to see you all dancing to cxr's tune like little puppets.

He doesn't care about truth, he's not here to discuss, he's not interested in what you have to say, you wont convince him of anything because he doesn't care about the truth, and if you corner him he'll just produce more spam. He doesn't even believe the shît he posts.

The only thing he wants is for you to do exactly what you are doing.

They seem to be making a massive deal about online knife purchases now needing 2 forms of ID. I can't see it would make a massive difference beyong proving age. I suspect somebody with such intent would have two forms of ID and given their intent. The Stockport guy was 17; in Scotland & Northern Ireland you can get married at age 16 (I thought), 18 in England.

I don't have any strong views on 2 forms of ID to buy a knife online, just I don't see it as helping addressing these "Lone Wolf" attacks, nor with addressing knife crime on our streets, etc.

Agree 100%.

Cooking supper this evening, chopping up my veg I suddenly realised that blocking these under 18 year olds from buying knives online just means they'll have to use one of the many sharp long knives floating around their parents' kitchen at home. No proof of ID needed to swipe one before heading out to ...

This government, the previous one, the police are doing virtually nothing to combat knife/machete attacks. There are loads of video clips of young fellas, flailing these weapons on streets. Cities and towns are descending into lawlessness.

Can't jail them, no bloody room

I wonder where Starmer's vision of UK leading the world in AI stands now a business consortium in the US is investing US$500bn in AI (in the US). UK efforts standing at ... (have they topped 27p yet?)

Ian

According to PE, Starmer is the 5th UK PM, in the past 11 years) to promise that AI (artificial intelligence, not artificial insemination) is going to make the UK a "world leader".

You don't need be Muslim to be an islamic radical terrorist. But seen as you mention it, it is the biggest pool of wannabe terrorists
Stats for referrals to the UK Prevent Program these days are consistently higher for extreme right than for islamic ideologies. In 2024 Government stats have Extreme right at 19% of the referrals and Islamic concerns at 13% of referrals
the number of referrals for ‘Extreme right-wing concerns’ (1,314; 19%) is greater than referrals for ‘Islamist concerns’ (913; 13%);

Again, sorry the facts don't support fake news pushing personal agendas.

Please explain how you can be Islamic - which specifically means you are a follower of the Islamic faith - without being a Muslim.

No - go on, please do. It'll be hilarious.
