The millions of people who aren't British citizens, make them pay for private health care, blocked from hospitals AE units and GPs.

Go through each hospital individually, slash waste in administration, duplication. Have for British people, two track system involving private and NHS. If people want to jump queues via private, facilitate it with fair reasonable premiums.

People would be more than happy to contribute to that than pay for some of Labours money grabbing ideas

How's that for starters

What's your idea??

We have reciprocal agreements with EU (what used to be EHIC, now renamed Global Health Insurance or some such nonsense from Boris), this is an advantage to UK Citizens travelling in Europe. This agreement does not cover non-UK people living in UK, or, UK citizens visiting EU. Beyond that, the rules are that none UK citizens should pay for treatment. If those existing rules are enforced or not, I have no idea. Do you have any figures as to the size of the "problem" ie how much of the waiting list(s) are composed of non-uk nationals?, No need to go to decimal points, is it 1%, 50%? or what.

In a rare moment of agreement, having worked in the NHS, I would agree that waste and duplication is a major problem.

That wasn't so hard was it? Actually trying to answer a question rather than spew up some meme or X post from Trump fans.

It's clear that you read and lap up a lot of stuff from very biased, and not always truthful, sources, but not so clear that you differentiate between truth/opinion ot bullsh*t.

For instance you repost stuff from Alex Jones, Elon Musk and Charlie Kirk without any question of its veracity.

Every poster has views about politics, and often their re-posted tweets and articles reflect their biases but they all spend time explaining their positions rather than relying on mindless copy-and-pastes.

So part of the 999 call will be to check citizenship before an ambulance is sent? Might be difficult if you're collapsed with a heart attack. Much easier to say it on paper when you're a heartless cyborg living out in the sticks.

That's politics in a nutshell, everyone has a bias. I'm just right wing.

They will be given a different number to call. If by mistake the wrong service attends, then claim back through insurance would be possible. But every immigrant needs to have valid policy as part of entering the country

Nothing new. The very same was being done under Blairs leadership. And if you "missed" your appointment, you were removed from the waiting list.
...
Another "manipulation" of the stats being reported (on BBC News several times) is that Labour now claiming they have met their additional 2 million appointments is based on comparing a partial year with the "previous" limited period being during the various Drs strikes.

I don't see many countering the posts. They just want to sling insults at me- which is fine if that's their MO.

I'm not bothered one iota re insults, I've never been offended or upset by words against me

But I will still continue posting 👍
